This case study showcases our involvement in the modernization of two passenger lifts located within an apartment building situated in Balestier. Our engagement in this project underscores our unwavering dedication to delivering excellence and ensuring client satisfaction. Throughout the process, we actively addressed the challenges encountered by the MCST (Management Corporation Strata Title) of the apartment building, demonstrating our team's ingenuity in providing effective solutions.
The Challenge

Before engaging our services, the MCST faced severe disruptions due to frequent lift breakdowns. Despite repeated attempts by the existing contractor to rectify the issues, the problems persisted, leading to discontent among the residents and threats of legal action.
Solution
Recognising the urgency of the situation, we conducted a thorough assessment of the lifts and proposed a comprehensive modernisation plan. The age and condition of the lifts necessitated a full modernisation, which we recommended to the MCST as the most cost-effective and long-term solution. Our unbiased evaluation and track record convinced the MCST to entrust us with the project, leading to the termination of the existing contractor.

The implementation of the full lift modernization yielded significant improvements:
